Dragging my feet down the stark grey street
Desperately in need of sleep
The buildings dark and looming
Endless fog, thick, bleak and cold
A snake entwines me, a suffocating hold
I trip, I fall and hit the ground
An alarm rings, its constant annoying sound
Don't trust the hand reaching to me
Been there before, won't stay
Not worth it, useless, they'll see
I'm ok. The untrue words I say
Another day on the stark grey street known only to me
