We never knew what happened to you

You were just found

Abandoned on waste ground

Terrified, you were taken in

A farm cat they thought you may have to be

But wait.  Playing with toys, there's hope

The right human, patient and kind, may cope

When I saw you, no going back

You arrived one snowy day

Behind my desk you hid away

Eating food, then you'd go

It didn't take long, for you to trust

My little companion you became

Playing games of peek-a-boo 

Chasing toys I throw for you

Little cuddle times to let me know

I'm your human and you're my boy

Our home filled with laughter and joy
